合

it’s a coincidence(合):

– that these two things are put together (and they fit(合) each other!)

– that these two things together illustrate the meaning of “合” (try your imagination…)

– that “合” has the same sound as “盒” (the frame is a box cover), and “和” which  can be  found  in  the dried pomelo rind (doesn’t it look like many “人” being together)

– that this Chinese character gives interpretation to and is illustrated by the picture at the same time
